June 2025: Users will no longer be able to add or import new passwords into the Authenticator app.
July 2025: The autofill functionality within Authenticator will be disabled.
August 2025: All saved passwords and any unsaved generated passwords will be permanently deleted from the Authenticator app.
It's important to note that while password management features are being removed, the Authenticator app will continue to support passkeys and two-factor authentication (2FA) functionalities.

To ensure continued access to your saved credentials:
Export Passwords: Before August 1, 2025, export your saved passwords from the Authenticator app.
Transition to Microsoft Edge: Set up Microsoft Edge as your default autofill provider to continue using your saved passwords seamlessly.
Consider Alternative Password Managers: If you prefer not to use Edge, export your passwords and import them into another trusted password manager of your choice.
