Steps to Create a Template (Desktop)

  1. Open Outlook and click New Email.
  2. Draft your email, including the subject and body content.
  3. Click File > Save As.
  4. In the Save As dialog box:
    • Choose Outlook Template (*.oft) as the file type.
    • Name your template and save it in the default folder.

Using a Template

  1. Go to New Items > More Items > Choose Form.
  2. Select User Templates in File System from the dropdown menu.
